Friends laughing together in the evening light

ToGethered Moments

The bit you actually remember.

Nobody looks back fondly on a well-run poll. They remember the swell that came good, the table that finally formed, the ride everyone bailed on except three people.

What Moments is

Whatever you'd have kept anyway.

The people who were there keep what happened. That is the whole feature.

  • A photo
  • Fifteen seconds of video
  • A story only nine people get
  • A scorecard
  • A route worth stealing
  • A memory, badly written

What Moments is not

It is not a competition.

The instant you score a memory, you turn a gathering into a performance — and the whole point of ToGethered is that nobody is performing. So none of this will ever exist:

  • 🚫 No leaderboard
  • 🚫 No winner
  • 🚫 No monthly prize
  • 🚫 No algorithm ranking whose Saturday was best
  • 🚫 No feed to farm
  • 🚫 No likes to chase

Moments belong to the gathering that produced them, and to the people who were at it.

They remember the ride.

Why it matters

The app is scaffolding.

It exists so that a thing happens, and then it should get out of the way. Moments is where you can see what the scaffolding was for — a slow pile of evidence that spending time together was worth the small effort of arranging it.

The honest measure

Not intents posted.

Not notifications delivered. Not weekly actives. Whether anyone got a good afternoon out of it. If this product ever needs a number, that is the number — and Moments is the only place it shows up.

Coming with the app

Some of what people will keep

The point was never the app. It was the evening you nearly skipped, the swell that showed up, the table that finally formed. Moments is where those get kept — photos, clips, stories, scorecards and routes, contributed by the people who were there.

These are illustrations of the idea, not real contributions — Moments ships with the app, and we would rather show you the concept honestly than invent a community that does not exist yet.

When it ships

Moments comes with the app, after the basics earn their keep: spots, intents, following and spot-days. Building the memento shelf before anyone has a memory to put on it would be backwards.

If you want to be told when it lands, the bot is the place to start — it is the part that works today.

Go make one.

The moment comes first. We will be ready to keep it.
